Na'alehu and Discovery Harbour
Discovery Harbour is an established 800 plus lot subdivision. It offers paved streets, county water, TV cable, electric services and protective covenants in an area where these features are rare. Most lots are between 11,000 and 15,000 sqft. A few double lots reach nearly 2300 sqft. Many of the home sites have golf course frontage. Mountain and ocean views are common as you drive through the community. Making it even more attractive, the Lava Zone is Six. The property is situated about 10 minutes away from the village of Na'alehu where there are several shops, restaurants, a hardware and grocery store, gas station and post office. It takes about 1.5 hours to drive to either Kailua-Kona or Hilo. Charming, lovely, beautiful, unspoiled are just some of the ways you will hear Na'alehu and the surrounding area described. The Phenomenal Black Sand and Green Sand Beaches nearby at the south end of the Big Island are not so much for sunning as they are simply stunning. The golf course is closed but CLICK HERE and you will be treated to an aerial view that will allow you to zoom right in on the individual lots. Find Lot 414 at the inside corner of Kahiki and Ha'eHa'e. Lot 308 is beside the existing house just before Aoili Place angles slightly and becomes a cul-de-sac. Until recently Discovery Harbour lot and homeowners played the course for a very nominal fee. The golf course is closed now and there is no dependable word on when or if it will re-open.
